The QFireBIG Box is suitable for individual standard construction or project-specific for a customized application. We take other customer-specific requirements into account and thus also offer the easiest to install variant for retrofitting existing PV systems. All individual requirements are taken into account. QFire BIG is independent of the manufacturer of the modules or inverters, can be equipped with overvoltage protection and is supplied in a high-quality plastic or metal housing as required.

In this case, we equipped an industrial building with a 1 MW roof system (128 strings) with generator disconnection and overvoltage protection. The QFire BIG switch boxes also include T2 surge arresters. A T1+T2 combined arrester would also be possible here. Each of these BIG switch boxes switches up to 16 strings.

Standard-Set Feuerwehrschalter für PV Anlagen

The modular, expandable set consists of a control box and a switch box and is suitable for smaller PV systems, for example in the private sector. Here, too, all lines from the disconnection box on the roof are galvanically isolated from the PV generator in the event of switching. This means that all DC cables in the building are de-energized.
