Controlled disconnection of PV modules
In case of fire or incidence, a modern PV plant needs an effective and secure way to switch off the modules. This is the only way to assure a safe and secure handling at the modules during sun exposure. With a safe disconnection device firemen are able to extinguish a burning building without hesitation after disconnecting the modules from voltage.
Generator disconnection set consists of a control box, a disconnection box and a control line. The disconnecting box switches off each string.

The QFire Switch generator disconnection set is standardly available for 1/2 or 3/4 Strings. With the optional expansion for additionally 2 or 4 strings the set is modularly expandable up to 12 Strings per control box.
From 16 strings on a slave control box can be used to switch off further strings.
