Under this year's theme, Wipro GmbH, a foreign trade services company, is presenting numerous interesting contributions from representatives of well-known companies in the energy sector. Dr. Lugano Wilson, a board member of TANESCO, will be coming from Tanzania to give a presentation entitled "The energy sector in Tanzania as a key factor for progressive industrialization". The opening speech will be given by Dr. Lugano Wilson, the Tanzanian Ambassador, Dr. Abdallah Saleh Possi, in Berlin on the market opportunities in Africa, which will open up further after the July G20 summit in Hamburg.

C.A.R.M.E.N. expert discussion "Battery storage - high quality, low prices?"
On Tuesday, November 21, 2017, C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V. and the Bamberg Climate and Energy Agency are organizing the expert discussion "Battery storage - high quality, low prices?". The event, organized as part of the "LandSchafftEnergie" advisory initiative, offers the opportunity to find out about battery storage systems and current trends on the market and to share experiences. Participants will be given an insight into the most important properties and economic efficiency of battery storage systems. Operators will then receive information on the tax treatment of storage systems. In addition, questions of liability towards the customer and safety-related aspects are dealt with. Finally, there are brief insights into practice.
